General conditions

Included in the price:

    • 1 hour period of grace from the time of collection (notice in advanced)

    • Full risk insurance with  not excess

    • Second driver free

In case of any accidents or damages to the vehicle, the customer is required to fill out an accident report and deliver it to our office. Also, if the vehicle is stolen, the customer is required to report to the police and submit the complaint in our office.

Any accidents or damages to the vehicle not notified shall be construed as negligence by the customer and this may incur to additional charges.

– Any complaint must always be reported within 24 hours after taking the vehicle, that is, claims made after this period of time has elapsed.

– In case of returning the vehicle before the end date of the contract, no amount will be refunded.

– The translations offered of these conditions are merely informative and have no legal character. Only the conditions in Spanish have legal validity.

Not included in the price and considered extras

Insurance “Young driver” for drivers between 21-27 years old, maximum 20€

Any accessory , child seats, etc .. Prices are available to the customer at the time of booking on our website.

Not covered by insurance: 

It is the resposibility of the renter the following cases of loss or damage:

    • Loss or damage to keys

    • All Costs caused due to wrong type of fuel being administered to the vehicle

    • Damages under the vehicles .

    • Towing Service (only when the client incurs in negligence that is not covered by insurance.)

    • Damage to clutch

    • Damage inside the vehicle.

    • Damage to tires and wheels caused by hitting curbs,sidewalks, stones etc.

    • Any manipulation of the vehicle by the lessee is prohibited without the consent of Nuracar S.L.

    • Traffic fines

    • NEW NURACAR doesn`t accept any responsability for any possesions that you may leave behind in the vehicle

Motorcycle insurance conditions

Scooter rental includes helmets and trunk. The insurance is fully comprehensive with a franchise of €180

Minimum 23 years – Maximum 75 years

DRIVER’S LICENSE B, Only EC countries with 3 years of experience (experience in driving motorcycles).

DRIVING LICENSE  A and A1 with 2 years of experience

Fuel policy 

NEW NURACAR does not charge gas or refuel in advance. The car is delivered full and returned full or the other option is to return the same deposit is delivered.

If you are unable to fill up the tank and return the vehicle us with less petrol tan you started with , you should inform the Company representative before leaving and pay the amount owing.

Traffic Fines

Rent a car NEW NURACAR SL charges an administrative fee of 20 Euros (VAT included) to the client when we receive a traffic ticket. Rent a car NEW NURACAR iis obliged by law to provide information of the rente to the authorities in case of a traffic fine.

This fee does not include the payment of the traffic fine. The customer must pay the authorities directly.

Abandonment of the vehicle

Clients abandoning vehicles elsewhere than the agreed in the lease shall be liable for costs incurred for breach of contract. Moreover, apart from the daily rental fee, a daily charge of 30 Euros (VAT included) penalty will apply.

Restrictions

    • Vehicles can not be taken abroad or between islands

    • Customers will need to provide us with a local address (flat, apartment, villa, hotel, etc.)

    • The minimum driver age is 21 years, with a driving license with a length of more than 24 months

    • Máximum age for renting is 75 years old.

    • If the vehicle category reserved is not available at the time of collection, we will provide one upgrade at no additional cost

    • The insurance does not cover, in any case, accidents or damages caused to the vehicle by driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medications or any other substance that reduces the driver′s ability, or when the driver is not one of the authorized drivers in the contract, or even so, if the damages occur due to breach of what is established in the contract or the basic traffic regulations

Standard or extreme cleaning

The rental price includes a standard cleaning of the vehicle, however, if the vehicle is returned extremely dirty, NURACAR SL will be forced to charge 30€ for special cleaning.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations without penalty must be made with a minimum of 48 hours respect to the start of rent which shall be considered at 08.00 am on the first day. Otherwise the following shall apply:.

– Less than 48 hours shall be paid 100% of the total agreed price

NEW NURACAR S.L reserves the right to cancel a reservation within a maximum period of 48 hours once the reservation is received. As a result, the entire amount will be disbursed to the user.

DOCUMENTATION NECESSARY TO RENT A CAR

In addition to a valid driving license, you must present an identification document, such as a passport or ID, and present a credit card (We do not block any amount of money but it is necessary as a guarantee)

Late return of the vehicle

If the vehicle is returned later than the date agreed in the lease, the insurance will be invalidated, and the customer will be responsible for payment of 20€ per day (VAT included). In addition to this payment, the customer will also be responsible for paying the daily rental rate.

Pick up at the airport

The customer will pay the parking fee at Menorca airport at the time of collection. The amount of the ticket should not exceed 5€, and if it does the client can claim the amount exceeded except in deliveries between 21:00 to 8:00, when it can reach up to 10€. Rent a car NEW  NURACAR will pay the parking fee when the customer returns the vehicle at the termination of his contract.

-Customers who return the car at the Airport/Port must leave the car unlocked with a key and a parking ticket in the glove compartment. In the event of returning the vehicle to an incorrect parking lot (another airport parking lot, yellow line, loading and unloading, etc. .), the resulting expenses will be borne by the customer who parked the car, even if the date of the penalty is after the expiration of the lease

In case of not being able to attendthe reservation of car , NEW NURACAR S.L reserve the right to avenge the rental service to another rent a car company with the same condition.NEW NURACAR S.L reserves the right to cancel the reservation within 48 hours of receiving it. New Nuracar reserves the right to apply an excess after informing the tenant.
